It's all well and good having a beautifully designed website with all the bells and whistles, but if it never comes up in a search or no-one even lands on it, it's really just wasting valuable cyber space. Web analytics platforms help to provide insight as to what kind of traffic a website is actually getting, and in turn, helps website owners or developers to make any necessary adjustments to increase traffic and user interaction. Positionly is one of these web analytics platforms. Positionly also provides the Positionly API that makes this functionality available to developers who may want to integrate it with other applications.
The number of services Google makes available via API has expanded rapidly. We currently list over 80 Google APIs. To deal with the responsibility of supporting that many APIs, the company has spent the last year moving many services to a new architecture. As part of that process, it created the Google APIs Discovery API, to help both internal and external developers make sense of what's available and how each service is accessed.
