Garmin, a provider of GPS solutions, has announced the release of the Connect Courses API. The new API will allow developers to integrate with Garmin’s GPS devices and directly import course directions. The API has already been implemented in the extremely popular Strava and Komoot applications.
There's a new way to get thousands of local points of interest into your web maps: the CloudMade Data Market Place. There's a fee for using the data, but otherwise it's as easy as the standard CloudMade API (our CloudMade API profile). For a few hundred dollars per year, you can add any restaurant in the U.S., hospitals in the UK to your map, or one of about 80 datasets.
Swagger Codegen 2.2.0 has been released with many improvements and security fixes, and including JMustache update, codegen model improvement, addition of Apache 2.0 license to all generators, additional integration tests using Shippable and AppVeyor, and fixes to prevent code injection.
