"Get rewarded for being social" is the slogan of PeerPerks, a new service recently launched by social media influence ranker PeerIndex. Less than a month after PeerIndex has extended its offering by providing insights into the topical influence of a user, PeerPerks is the next step of the company to make "social influence" an actual good.
Facebook has recently announced the release of Graph API (v4.0) and Marketing API (v4.0). The changes to these APIs are highlighted by updates to webhooks, Business Asset Groups, and ad creation and editing. Ad Insights also gains new functionality that provides more granular insight into traffic.
Last week I read an article written by Kin Lane's Lack of Pinterest API is a Lack of API Business Strategy. The article points out that Pinterest has been developing a public API since May 2011. Though there once was API documentation for Pinterest, the company has yet to officially make the Pinterest API available to the public.
