The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has finalized two rules aimed at delivering US patients better access to their own health data. Two different departments under HHS (ONC and CMS) have issued these rules, and both rules require the use of APIs for easier patient access to data.
Google has announced some new features available for its OpenID API. The "SAP Rapid-Deployment Solution for Sentiment Intelligence with SAP HANA" loads text data from any Web Channel that has a publicly available API. Once the data is into its system, SAP's software takes over.
