The Solace C Sample Code by Solace Systems provides demonstrations for deploying the Solace messaging infrastructure when using the C language to construct Solace API applications. Developers need to have Solace message routers in place, or alternatively set up a VMR through a link provided in the sample code’s documentation.
Google joined Apple with a ban of on-device cryptocurrency mining apps from Google Play. Apple made its decision in June of this year. Both companies will continue to allow remote mining. As cryptocrime continues to accelerate, and mining is resource intensive, the decisions weren't surprising.
Last week marked the end of Evernote Accelerator Program capped by the demo day on Thursday. The Accelerator is a month-long, fully paid residency program where six startup teams from around the world were given the opportunity to study an on-premise startup curriculum at Evernote's offices. The demo day acted as a capstone to the event, allowing the teams to show off the progress made on each of their products; each using the Evernote API. ProgrammableWeb caught up with Evernote's Director of Developer Relations Rafe Needleman for some insight into the product teams and their experiences in the Accelerator.
Google said it will follow through on plans announced in 2011 to deprecate several search-related APIs. The company already has a replacement in place for the soon-to-be-defunct APIs. The replacement will help developers add select search functions to their Android mobile apps.
