Publr.com is a free blogging service with a few innovative features. It allows posts of various types, including your typical text, but also including maps, videos, chat transcripts, and links. Its site has a pretty good typical web interface for such things, and there are both first-party and third-party applications to use to post. Those third-party applications use the Publr API.
Facebook implemented new features for its Live API to answer common concerns voiced by the publishers. The automated encoder configuration ensures auto tweaks to quality settings throughout the stream, and the frame-accurate start times informs a publisher of the exact frame a video is live.
Instagram has deprecated much of its public API effective immediately. In a changelog published today, the popular Facebook-owned social media sharing platform announced that the endpoints for Follows and Relationships, Public Content Commenting, Likes and User Search have been removed.
