AISpeech is the API behind a Chinese language and pronunciation learning website, AIChinese. You may know that Chinese is a tonal language. Where tones and inflection are used in English to convey emotion or differentiate between a declarative statement and a question, in tonal languages like Chinese, different tones on the same syllable can be altogether different words. The AISpeech API gives you access to a language processing engine which is capable of detecting spoken words and evaluating if the appropriate tone is used.
Google wants to see more voice-enabled apps and the search giant took a big step in order to help make that become a reality. Today Google offered its Cloud Speech API to developers, who can add transcription, dictation, and spoken command features to their own apps. The API is initially free.
Nulab, a communication and collaboration applications company based in Japan, has announced the launch of the new Cacoo SDK edition which includes the brand new Cacoo SDK Edition API. Cacoo is a web-based collaborative drawing tool that allows users to create a variety of diagrams including sitemap, flowchart, mind map, wireframe, UML and network diagrams.
