Amazon Kinesis is a platform for streaming data on AWS (Amazon Web Services). Using this SDK requires the MultiLangDaemon provided by the Amazon Kinesis Java SDK.
TM Forum, a global trade association that focuses on the digital economy, has just announced the launch of the TM Forum API Zone, featuring a suite of REST-based APIs designed to provide management functionality for end-to-end digital services. These new digital services management APIs were tested and integrated into a variety of apps at the 2013 TM Forum Digital Disruption Conference.
Stage of Life, loyalty marketing agency, has launched its Coupon API. The API pulls from the Stage of Life Merchant Network. The network includes hundreds of national brand merchant offers, coupons, and discounts. Access through the API gives developers the flexibility to enhance current loyalty programs, or build stand alone applications.
Involver launched its Engagement Optimization API last week (read the official release here). Partners are utilizing the API to "optimize their ad spend on social in the way they've been doing across the web for a long time." Although advertising across social networks has been deployed for quite some time, advertisers have had limited tools to track engagement. Facebook Insights is probably most commonly used to analyze social data. When users have required deeper analysis, the advertisers were forced to use highly custom integrations.
