Box, a leading content sharing and file storage platform provider, has announced that the company is partnering with Dignity Health and The Social + Capital Partnership to create the "Box and Dignity Health Patient Education App Challenge." The contest requires developers to use the Box Platform and Box API to create innovative web and mobile apps that provide engaging health-related content to patients and encourage patients to follow up with patient care teams.
Last week at the Dreamforce event in San Francisco, Saleforce.com unveiled its new mobile platform called touch.salesforce.com. Built with HTML5, touch.salesforce.com will allow users to access salesforce.com apps on iOS and Android smartphones and tablets. At Dreamforce, Saleforce.com acknowledged that the future of the enterprise is both social and mobile, and the Salesforce.com APIs are a driving force.
