Aspose.HTML Cloud SDK for Ruby is based on a very mature cloud REST API that enables your cloud-based Ruby applications, process and manipulates HTML files.
This HTML manipulation API supports working with HTML creation, rendering, content extraction using OCR, populating HTML template with data, content translation, extracting HTML page keywords and conversion from HTML to other supported formats.
Diffbot has come out of beta announcing the APIs ability to extract content from sites that fit into two page-types: article and front page. The Diffbot engine can determine, just by rendering and looking at a page, what type of page it is. Is it an article or a front page news site? Maybe it's a profile page from a social network. Diffbot’s artificial brain has been literally trained to know the difference. Developers can make 50,000 calls to the Diffbot API per month for free with additional calls available for fractions of a cent. This pricing should encourage wide adoption and experimentation.
Magickly aims to make image manipulation possible as a simple web service. The Magickly API is very easy to use, and completely open source. It requires no API key, and allows a developer to use a lot of different image manipulations on any web-accessible image. Magickly is an open source, simplified version of the Aviary Effects API, which has a contest ending next week.
