The Betable Android SDK by Betable allows API communication to implement gambling features into gaming applications. Useful in particular for mobile users. Code presents dependencies and permissions. It also displays ways to login listener and add Betable login into an activity.
The goal of HeyZap is to be the "YouTube of casual gaming" by giving site publishers a way to embed more than 6000 casual Flash games into their sites with a single embed code. Their business model (more detail from TechCrunch) is to collect revenue from ads within the games using the MochiAds ad platform and share some of that with developers. The publishers using the code don't get revenue, but get increased traffic to their sites.
ProgrammableWeb first covered Ordr.in a little over a year ago as it released APIs during Hackfood the Hackathon. Since then, Ordr.in has made significant strides in its relationships with developers and partners. Two relationships Ordr.in announces this week include partnerships with Microsoft and Delivery.com.
ArenaNet, developer of the popular online role-playing game Guild Wars 2, is working on the implementation of OAuth2 and plans to release new authenticated Guild Wars 2 APIs in 2014. ArenaNet also plans on adding a Leaderboards API that will give developers programmatic access to the same leaderboards data that ArenaNet used to create its Guild Wars 2 leaderboards site.
