California Digital Library EZID Python SDK by Mark Redar is a Python client to ease programmatic use of the California Digital Library EZID web API. Currently, the module also provides the same client interface as the sample code in https://ezid.cdlib.org/doc/apidoc.htmland borrows heavily from it.

Target is on the data breach hot seat again, just two weeks after settling its massive 2013 data breach. This time, an API vulnerability tied to the Target app wishlist functionality led a security firm to easily retrieve personal information from app users. The API requires no authentication.
Last year, dating app OKCupid removed the ability for its users to view who had visited their profiles, but a developer this week revealed that visitor data had still been available via OKCupid's Visitor API. In a blog post, Zack Whipkey detailed how he was able to access detailed user information.
