Just about every web developer must now be comfortable at least consuming APIs, if not creating them. This trend now shows itself in job titles including "API" and "mashup," and more often in the requirements and experience section of job listings.
Busy week! We've got nine job openings this week in a variety of roles. Also notable this time around is the platform positions at companies not typically known for their API work: Visa, Bloomberg and Getty Images. As more and more companies continue to build an API strategy we'll continue to see even more of these types of openings.
Last week, Cornerstone, a provider of cloud-based talent management applications that help companies recruit, train and manage and connect their employees, launched Cornerstone Marketplace, an app store that gives Cornerstone Marketplace customers to find and access apps, services and content using their Cornerstone accounts.
