The CloudMine iOS SDK by CloudMine allows API interaction with the aim to integrate mobile enterprise features into an iOS application. Healthcare and Internet of Things projects could benefit from this SDK, which provides installation, sample apps, and tutorial in addition to users, objects, and files.
Google has just launched the Reseller API allowing Google Partners to integrate components of Google Apps reseller tools into their own customer and sales systems. Using the Reseller API, authorized reseller administrators and service integrators can "place customer orders and manage Google Apps monthly post-pay subscriptions."
In January, OnStar announced an API would allow third party developers to integrate their applications with OnStar's platform. Last week, General Motors announced its first partner for API integration: RelayRides. RelayRides is "[t]he world's largest peer to peer carsharing marketplace." The partnership with GM allows OnStar users to leave their keys in their cars when renting a car to a fellow RelayRider. The renter can then unlock the car with a smartphone app or by responding to a text message.
Android Studio 2.2 has been available in preview form since May, but this week Google made the final version available to all developers. Android Studio is the integrated development environment that Android app writers use to work their magic in creating smartphone and tablet applications.
