The CoinMarketCap Perl SDK by thunderstruck47 allows developers to integrate the CoinMarketCap API into their Perl applications. This SDK requires several Perl modules and libraries including LWP::UserAgent, LWP::Protocol::https, and JSON.
The app55 API lets online and bricks and mortar merchants in the UK take payments from customers on any device, on websites designed and controlled by the retailer. app55 joins 362 payment APIs in our directory. In addition to offering one click, being fully brandable (meaning the customer sees your site only, and is not aware of app55's role), all of the stiff PCI compliance issues that make handling these transactions so complex is outsourced through them.
Business models were nascent in 2005, when ProgrammableWeb listed only 105 APIs in our directory. There were only four basic models, according to John Musser's talk this morning at Glue. Fast forward six years and those same business models exist, but there's a lot more detail, as the now 3,000+ APIs have refined the ways an API can make money.
