So and So is now following you on Twitter. Who? How did they find me? Why might I want to follow back? That's been a common bit of internal dialogue for me lately. Often the answer lies in our mutual friends or followers. Social networks like LinkedIn and Facebook make this easy. Not so with Twitter, which is why I was excited to find Intersect.
Google recently announced a beta version of its new App Engine firewall. In addition to the security features inherent within App Engine, the App Engine firewall allows developers to block and permit users based on IP address and geography. Developers simply create rules and prioritize the rules.
With thousands of Facebook developers pushing code at an average rate of three to four times a day, writing code that is “secure by default” is critical to avoid introducing security vulnerabilities. Although secure by default code is not a new idea, it’s something many developers and
