TrueSample, SurveyMonkey's validation technology, released the TrueSample API that allows developers to qualify survey responders to achieve effective results. The technology driving TrueSample ensures that people are who they claim to be and only take a survey once, all while eliminating those who choose random answers and unqualified responders. The TrueSample API provides pre and post survey data as well as real-time feedback to provide industry leading insight into surveys of all types.
It looked like Yahoo BOSS was dead 18 months ago, when the Microsoft search deal was announced. Behind the scenes, Yahoo has been re-tooling its Yahoo BOSS API, which lets developers Build their Own Search Service. With a re-launch coming next month, it has released technical documentation, which includes changes to authentication, the option to use ads from the service, as well as introductory prices for the service.
Publisher Pearson recently launched its new API program with three of its top titles. The new platform provides a common set of tools that developers have grown accustomed to: documentation, sample code, app showcase, blog, forum and FAQs, for example. Pearson has a lot of content to pick from with its core offerings, as well as its numerous partners, and they decided to start by launching three very different content APIs: FT Press API, Longman Dictionary API and Eyewitness Guide to London API.
