The Dark Sky Swift SDK by Satyam Khodasara allows developers to deploy Swift language when integrating weather forecasting applications. The SDK communicates with the Dark Sky API, formerly Forecast.io API. Its deployment required the onwards of iOS 9.0, macOS X 10.10, tvOS 9.0, or watchOS 2.0.
A new mapping-related API from WeatherBug has a response type we don't see too often: images. The new service provides radar, temperature and other weather-related data as an overlay for Bing or Google Maps.
Foursquare just made the switch from using the Google Maps API, to joining the crowd-sourced, global OpenStreetMap movement. To do most of the heavy lifting, foursquare relied upon the still fairly new MapBox API.
