Nokia this week released version 1.2 of its Imaging SDK. The new developer tools, which were announced by CEO Stephen Elop at Microsoft's Build conference in San Francisco, will allow developers to add a wide range of new features to their own camera applications. The SDK applies to devices running Windows Phone 8.0 and Windows Phone 8.1. Nokia claims the SDK will let even entry-level devices run compelling and complex imaging applications thanks to optimization and low-memory requirements.
eZ-Xpo, virtual tradeshow management platform, announced the release of the eZ-Xpo Open Event Management API. The API integrates with third party applications such as Eventbrite, Cvent, Etouches, Amiando, and many more. Integration with the API allows third party apps to include management planning, registration, and promotion for events.
Bellefield, leader in mobile time entry for firms, has launched an API for its iTimeKeep solution. iTimeKeep has allowed attorneys to enter time at any time, at any place. The API allows developers to integrate iTimeKeep functionality with any other app that attorneys use. Bellefield expects increased efficiency for attorneys to result from the release as users will now be able to contemporaneously report time and other work-related activities in a single step.
