Box introduced the "All New Box" throughout the week at its BoxWorks conference. The launch includes many developer focused features that pitch Box as a single place for all company content. Highlights to accomplish this goal include new APIs to access content and updated developer tools.
There isn't just one social graph, there are many. LinkedIn maintains your professional contacts, while Facebook has friends and family (and yes, often many professional). Twitter has some mix, as well, perhaps with a different filter. Aggregators take these disparate contacts and bring them into one place. A new service uses several APIs to merge them and give tools to better understand and utilize your network of contacts.
Google announced the Firebase App Indexing API. The API allows users to search for content within the Google app and find personal or public content across apps installed on a particular device. Because the content is stored on the device, the API is functional whether a user is online or not.
