The Everyplay Unity SDK by Everyplay allows integration in iOS devices. References include how to configure Everyplay and how to record with Everyplay. Settings allow project customization, while the initialization process permits recording support, control session recording, handle a recorded session, render a video thumbnail, and interact with Everyplay service. The Unity SDK is also available for Android.
The New York Times' (NYT) list of web services includes some impressive APIs that make it easier to access and track information about a range of interests, including best selling books, real estate, people, articles, and the United States Government. The NY Times development team has been incorporating feedback from users in order to make changes and improvements on a regular basis. Most recently, NYT developers answered a request from users to add information about bills and speeches to its Congress API:
You are shopping online and want to send a gift. But do you really want to have the retailer send one of those typed out cards with it? Sure, it includes your personal message but it just makes the recipient miss your handwriting and the ink. Sociagram offers online retailers an interesting alternative: the ability for their customers to add a video message. In many cases, that might be a a leap ahead from a pen and ink note--especially in my handwriting. The Sociagram API is the tool for retailers to use the service on their site. There are 15 APIs under "gift" in our API directory, but this could be the first to offer a "social video" twist to the topic.
There are a number of advertising networks available for mobile applications, but game company Tap Me is creating one specifically for game developers. Tap Me has launched its iPhone SDK today, with plans to support other platforms soon, including a generic API that will allow developers full control of how advertisements are included in their games. Rather than simply provide display advertising, Tap Me ties the ads into in-game actions, with brands able to be integrated deeper into games.
