The Face++ Python SDK by Face++ works like an interactive command to experiment with the APIs. Functions of the API include recognition features in real-time with the goal to provide accuracy. Kai Jia, student from Tsinghua University in China, authored this project on GitHub.
IBM announced recently that they are making it easier for developers to jump into machine learning. At the World of Watson, the IBM Cloud-based Watson Data Platform with Machine Learning was launched. At the core of it all was the concept of the interconnectivity of data made possible through APIs.
Microsoft announced a number of new API features within its Project Oxford artificial intelligence platform. The Face API was updated with facial hair and smile prediction. Other tools were officially opened up for public beta (e.g. spell check, CRIS, video editing, and more).
