This Facebook Graph Android SDK is used to integrate the Facebook Platform with your Unity applications to deploy socially integrated gaming experiences. The Unity SDK utilizes the FB.API class with the Graph API with two signatures that include one for passing a collection of arguments and for passing more complicated data. The Facebook SDK for Unity provides an interface to integrate a Unity write-once, run-everywhere experience across the key gaming platforms. The Graph API enables you with the ability to get data in and out of Facebook's social graph and includes: fetching profile information to provide social context, fetching user information such as their likes or photos, publish posts (including videos or photos) to Facebook and more. Facebook Developers enables you to build, grow and monetize amazing apps.
Facebook has announced that it will soon upgrade Graph API v2.3 users to v2.4. The automatic upgrade will take place on July 10th as part of Facebook's 2 year deprecation cycle. Significant changes from v2.3 to v2.4 require pre-migration attention from developers to avoid app disruption.
Facebook has made several announcements this week that will benefit developers by expanding the ways that they can reach audiences beyond the social network’s walls. The announcements include upgrades to both the Audience Network SDK and the Facebook Live API.
n0tice is a simple location based public notice board system. It's completely open and unfiltered, and allows users to post any sort of notice they want, tagged with their location, and lets them read notices near them, sorted by distance. Quite a simple little idea, and if it gets a user base, it could end up being quite useful. Although first designed for iPhone, the n0tice API was quickly released to allow integration into other programs, including desktop apps.
