Popcarte is a service for consumers, taking their uploaded photo and turning it into a card of the customer's choosing, from postcards to invitations to thank you notes, to special occasions, and then mails it out worldwide. The Popcarte API lets developers integrate the service into their apps.
Flickr has announced the release of two new Flickr API methods. The new methods are related to what are known as the Flickr Pandas, an experimental service where several virtual pandas select safe, public Flickr photos they consider interesting, or photos which have been geotagged.
WeTransfer has launched its API with iStock by Getty Images as its initial partner. WeTransfer, the file transferring service, partnered with Getty Images to enable iStock users to transfer images without leaving the site. Third party integration has been a goal for WeTransfer.
