The Gentics Mesh Node.js SDK by Gentics Mesh currently in Alpha stage, interacts with the API to access content management features. It provides REST queries, authentication, automatic language aggregation, and string parameters.
Snip.it lets you collect what you see on the web, be it an article, video, or image, then categorize it, add your own comments, and share it. The Snip.it API, currently in version 2, is RESTful with the response in JSON. Snip.it itself features a backbone.js-powered page load structure to speed things along.
cURL -- the command-line utility for interacting with Web-based resources (like Web APIs) -- can greatly decrease the coding needed to experiment with an API's inputs and outputs. VIA Studio's Mark Biek recently demoed the ease of cURL by calling Tickspot data through the Tickspot API.
Kippt, designed to make information workflow and archiving effortless, has launched a new API alongside a developer site and app gallery. The new, publicly available API simply opens up the existing Kippt API that continues to power the Kippt web service. Instead of pushing Kippt as a standalone product, the Kippt team hopes that the Kippt API will encourage developers to develop apps based on the Kippt platform.
