This Google Cloud PHP SDK allows you to integrate with the Google Pub/Sub service. Google Cloud Pub/Sub is a fully-managed real-time messaging service that allows you to send and receive messages between independent applications. The API provides a way to ingest event streams for real-time stream analytics. It delivers the events to Cloud Dataflow for processing and BigQuery for analysis as a data warehousing solution. Pub/Sub is a many-to-many, asynchronous messaging system that decouples senders and receivers. Google Cloud helps developers build with cloud tools and infrastructure, applications, maps and devices.
As the amount of processing power that can be affordably invoked via the cloud continues to increase, applications that were once thought too impractical to build are suddenly quite feasible. A good example of that is AppStream, a new service that Amazon is beta testing that allows graphically and resource-intensive applications to be extended out to any number of devices that previously would not have had the processing capabilities to run them.
One of the more intriguing aspects of RESTful APIs is that they make all kinds of computing platforms more accessible to developers than previously thought possible. Case in point is the machine learning platform (based on a math engine) that is being developed by Wise.io.
Appy Pie, cloud based mobile apps builder, has announced the inclusion of two new music APIs for its Do-it-Yourself mobile application platform. Integration with the SoundCloud and Beatport APIs will allow users to access their music libraries remotely without consuming mobile device memory.
