The Hedera Java SDK provides a way to interact with the Hedera API. The Hedera hashgraph platform provides a new form of distributed consensus; a way for people who don't know or trust each other to securely collaborate and transact online without the need for a trusted intermediary.
Since the Heroku Platform API v3 hit the market over two years ago, Heroku has announced the official sunset date for v2. On April 15, Heroku will no longer provide access to v2. Prior to the 15th, Heroku will stop supporting auth in query string for security purposes. Prompt migration is necessary.
Yahoo has just released a major update to YQL, the Yahoo Query Language platform they first launched late last year as part of their Yahoo Open Strategy. YQL is a SQL-like programming interface to all Yahoo data that can also support non-Yahoo data as well (think of queries that look like: select id from flickr.photos.search where text='car'). This week's release adds a set of new features called Yahoo Execute which begin putting in place more pieces of a powerful cloud-based development platform.
