The Hoko Android SDK provides developers access to the functionality of Hoko in Java. Some example SDK methods include deep linking links and sending push notifications to Android devices and applications. Hoko is platform that provides mobile deeplinking functionalities.
Google released Chrome 58 Canary this week, which enbales WebAssembly by default. The action gives Chrome more power to run web apps directly in the browser, but this is early days. WebAssembly -- sometimes referred to as wasm -- is a smaller, more efficient format for compiling content on the web.
Wacku has launched a non-profit open API in the broadcast media space: OpenMedia.io. The OpenMedia.io platform collects video and other media from human and machine-readable sources. In turn, the API updates users when need additions or changes have been made to the library. Currently most of its sources include YouTube videos, Podcasts, Web-TV series, and some movies. The OpenMedia.io team has invited the major broadcasters and studios to participate in its open project to no avail.
