Additional details have been released for Chirp, the Official Twitter Developer Conference, which we initially covered last week. Twitter developers will be pleased to learn that the conference will take place over two days on April 15-16, 2010, in San Francisco, California.
Every year a lot of "web professionals" go talk about very important things in the restaurants, bars and streets of Austin, Texas. Then, during the day, some of them go to panels at the SXSW Interactive conference. Voting in August for talks in March is part of the tradition. Each year we've tried to encourage APIs to take a larger role in the festival and it's working. There are more API-related proposals than every before and they're all listed below for your voting consideration.
WS-REST.org has announced that it will host the fifth edition of the International Workshop on Web APIs and RESTful Design at the 23rd International World Wide Web Conference this April in Seoul, South Korea. The first workshop was held in 2010. As APIs have continued to drive innovation in the connected world, the workshop has continued to refine its scope of study, broaden its expectations and increase interest. As the organizers begin to develop this years agenda, PW caught up with Carlos Pedrinaci, a research fellow at The Open University, UK, and one of the event organizers.
