As a platform for indexing and analyzing machine data, Splunk has emerged as a provider of a Big Data platform that developers can easily invoke. Now Splunk is starting to build an ecosystem around that platform.
Intuit today announced its launch of a new open source community at code.intuit.com. The new community is aimed at developers looking to work with the Intuit Partner Platform, which allows developers to reach millions of small businesses that use Intuit products (e.g., Quickbooks). It's an app for iPhone, Android and tablets that allows users to make payments with a quick click or tap. The Paddle API also makes it quick and easy for its functionality to be integrated with other existing e-commerce systems.
