Judo Payments offers a platform to build complete mobile payment solutions and host applications with a Judo marketplace. The Android SDK assists in embedding Judo Payments functionality into Android applications. The SDK methods are fully documented on Judo's site. The SDK is compatible with Android version 3.0 or later and requires a developer API key for use.
The Web Payments Working Group has published the first public drafts of payment specifications which include a Payment Request API, payment method identifiers, and basic card payment. The basic idea behind the specifications is to make payments easier and more secure for end users.
This week Google announced support of three new APIs in it's upcoming beta release of Chrome 61. These APIs, integrated from existing W3C standards, include the Payment Request API for making payment checkouts easier, the Web Share API for implementing native sharing capabilities and the WebUSB API.
