This SDK is a Ruby interface to access the Meetup.com API. It provides RESTful HTTP and streaming interfaces for exploring and interacting with the Meetup platform. This includes; categories, checkins, cities, events and more. Meetup brings people together in thousands of cities to organize more of what they want to do in life.

This week, HootSuite announced the launch of the HootSuite Developer Program which offers developers the opportunity to create high quality social media apps using the HootSuite platform.
Last week I read an article written by Kin Lane's Lack of Pinterest API is a Lack of API Business Strategy. The article points out that Pinterest has been developing a public API since May 2011. Though there once was API documentation for Pinterest, the company has yet to officially make the Pinterest API available to the public.
