The Placer Location Tracking Java SDK by Placer allows developers to deploy the Java language in the construction of Android-based mobile applications that implement location-based tracking concepts including round the clock location tracking, generation of timelines, and analytics of a user’s favorite places such as home, workplace, and content. The SDK communicates with the Placer REST API to facilitate the addition of contextual geofencing capabilities and record a user’s activities in identified places. The current version requires the onwards of Android 2.3-Gingerbread (API level 9).
