Microsoft has expanded its business application platform, Flow, to support Custom APIs and three new apps. Microsoft made the announcements at its Ignite 2016 event. As Microsoft continues to build its business application platform, more supported apps and more API connectivity will be essential.
Google API updates include My Business API and Calendar Resource API. The My Business API is a new API to manage your business listings online. The Calendar Resource API manages resources that are managed by users in their meetings. It replaces the now deprecated GDATA Calendar Resource API.
Microsoft continued its expansion of its Graph API portfolio with multiple API announcements at its latest Build developer conference. Specific API announcements include updates to SharePoint, OneNote, Planner, and translator APIs. Additionally, new Insights APIs were announced.
