PubNub's Real Time App SDK allows for Android app developers to create video streaming capabilities. It interacts with the PubNub API to allow data streaming by broadcasting, unicasting, or multicasting as well as automatic channel creations when messages are broadcast.
Keek, social video network, recently announced the release of the Keek API. Alongside the API launch, Keek established a developer portal that includes tools and resources to assist developers in integrating Keek with third party applications. The Keek API grants developers access to public keeks (i.e. 36 second video updates), search, user profiles, klusters, and more.
Recently we wrote about the wonders of PubSubHubBub and what was possible when services push data, in real time, to external web apps. Twitter's Stream API makes it clear that we're headed towards an exciting and very real-time web. Now YouTube is along for the ride.
