Fancy Hands, virtual assistant service, has launched an API: The Fancy Hands API. The API allows ordinary folks to build apps, add features to existing apps, and build businesses with the power of Fancy Hands' network of assistants. Fancy Hands envisions utilization of the API expanding well beyond the developer community.

Its popular TokBox application shall cease to be available and instead the company will focus on its OpenTok API, with all its energies on increasing API adoption with a developer contest to go along with it. To get the ball rolling, today it's announced 30 new partners already on the platform.
