The Pusher Websocket Scala SDK by Daisuke Taniwaki allows developers to work with the Pusher HTTP API when building Websocket-anchored messaging applications. The SDK is applicable under Akka’s actor context. Its deployment requires the onwards of Scala 2.10 and Java 8.
After a decade of helping sellers list items on eBay, power seller software maker Auctiva is launching its own marketplace. Or, more accurately, it's launching a platform, named AMP, where anyone can create a marketplace. Auctiva and its partners have 500,000 products ready to be included in any store via its API (our new AMP API profile).
BlindSquare founder, Ilkka Pirttimaa, once browsed over Wikipedia's Augmented Reality article and realized the concept focused solely on vision. Pirttimma believed the concept could expand to audio; thus, the idea for BlindSquare was born. The BlindSquare app provides "a new solution that combines the latest technology to help the daily life of the blind." BlindSquare pulls data from the FourSquare API and alerts users of restaurants, stores, and other locations surrounding them via audio instructions.
