The Ricoh Media Storage Swift SDK allows developers to integrate the Ricoh Media Storage in iOS apps. Its deployment requires the onwards of Swift 2.2 and Xcode 7.3.1 as well as Ricoh API client credentials and Ricoh ID. The credentials can be acquired from the THETA Developers website link provided in the documentation.
Earlier this year, ProgrammableWeb reported that the New York Public Library (NYPL) had launched the What's on the Menu API, the first public API released by the institution. The New York Public Library has just announced the launch of the NYPL Digital Collections API which allows developers programmatic access to the Library's vast collections of digitized creative works including manuscripts, historical maps, rare prints, photographs and much more.
Music video content provider MTV recently announced that its Content API is out of private beta and available to the general public. Available as part of a new MTV Networks Developers Tools web site, the RESTful API gives access to content from MTV, VH1, CMT and Logo. The API supports a variety of open standards including OpenSearch and MediaRSS for data results (see our new MTV API profile for more details).
