NASA has released a new API (the EPIC API) which provides programmatic access to images pulled from the EPIC camera. EPIC sits upon the DSCOVR satellite and constantly provides images from the Earth's sunlit side. Developers can retrieve images from the camera along with associated metadata.
A few years back Google introduced ML Kit, an SDK that lets mobile developers add machine learning to their apps. Recently, Google announced two new APIs (Entity Extraction and Selfie Segmentation) would be added to ML Kit to allow developers to create richer in-app experiences.
Eighteen APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories including Cryptocurrency, Mapping, and Localization . Also new to the directory is an API to run reports from Google regarding website abusive experiences and the Mapline API for creating maps from data on spreadsheets.
