This SDK is a wrapper for SendGrid in Go. It is a library to simplify the process of using SendGrid's X-SMTP API. The SendGrid SMTP API allows developers to specify custom handling instructions for e-mail. This is accomplished through a header, X-SMTPAPI, that is inserted into the message. The header is a JSON encoded list of instructions and options for that email. SendGrid’s platform, tools, and expert services team provides a way for developers and marketers to craft, segment, test, and deliver all of their email and includes: purchase confirmations, password reset instructions, an upcoming sale, or a nurture campaign and more. It is a customer communication platform that delivers 35+ billion emails each month.
Google has made several announcements about APIs recently, including the launch of the Content Experiments API, the launch of the new Cloud SQL API, and the availability of the CalDAV and CardDAV APIs to the public.
If you’re writing a serious application, on the web or otherwise, you’ve got to have good logging. In the context of application development, reading logs is my personal favorite method for tracking bugs and rooting them out. A service like Loggly is perfect for programmers like me. It provides an easy to use web interface with searching capabilities that allows you to see what your application is logging at any time that you’d like to check in. Debugging with Loggly is nice, but it’s just the tip of the iceberg, thanks in part to its Loggly API.
