The Splunk SDK contains library code and examples designed to enable developers to build applications using Splunk. With the Splunk SDK for Ruby developers can write Ruby applications to programmatically interact with the Splunk engine. The SDK is built on top of the REST API, providing a wrapper over the REST API endpoints. The Ruby SDK enables developers to search data, run saved searches, work with search jobs, manage Splunk configurations and objects, integrate search results into applications, log directly to Splunk, and to present a custom UI.

Over 600 companies around the world already rely on Yodlee to fuel financial apps and services for millions of consumers. Yodlee Interactive’s API previously supported SOAP/XML and powered some of the most innovative financial apps around. However, an expanded support for REST, JSON, and HTML will enable simplified integration and cross-platform functionality.
