The initial releases from credit card provider MasterCard look to be more than a toe-dip into APIs. With its MasterCard Payments API and two others, the company could be diving straight into the deep end. Though the services are still in beta, MasterCard appears to be taking very seriously its creation of a developer ecosystem.
MuleSoft has announced the Titan release of its Anypoint platform. The release features several new capabilities including a container service for multi-cloud deployments and an end-to-end monitoring solution. The release also includes a number of new MuleSoft certified connectors.

To complement the unusual choice of geography for a hackathon, Dwolla chose a name to fit the occasion: Old MacDonald Hackathon.
