Google has announced Trusted Web Activity, a new technology for integrating PWAs and other web-app content with an Android app. The company also announced User Experience Report, a public dataset of key user experience metrics. The dataset will initially focus on loading metrics.
Google rewarded developers at its I/O conference today with a wholly revised set of core tools. Android Studio 2.2 is meant to help developers take advantage of all the new features in Android N, while Firebase now comprises a suite of 15 tools to help with app analytics and performance.
