Temboo is a application platform that is for iOS applications that connect to over 100 web-based resources and services (e.g. Facebook, Dropbox, US Census data) by standardizing how developers interact with APIs. The SDK requires iOS 7 and Xcode 5 and guides developers through a basic way to use their SDK and has an extensive library.

Back in May I wrote about the race for either unified APIs or API standards to bridge the growing number of APIs in specific industries or areas. Unified APIs are created by a third party provider to bridge multiple APIs, while API standards would potentially create an industry-wide standard of how APIs should operate.
