Tobii EyeX .NET SDK offers developers eye tracking features. Working in tandem with the Tobii hardware, the SDK allows developers to create natural human-computer interactions using a combination of eye-gaze and other user inputs. The EyeX SDK provides access to the EyeX Engine API so that an application can be gaze-enabled.

Google has released the TensorFlow Object Detection API which provides access to an open source framework for constructing, training and deploying object detection models. The API provides access to Google's in-house object detection system, and includes a selection of trainable detection models.
Microsoft announced a number of new API features within its Project Oxford artificial intelligence platform. The Face API was updated with facial hair and smile prediction. Other tools were officially opened up for public beta (e.g. spell check, CRIS, video editing, and more).
