The ability to analyze information and use the results to make more informed decisions is something that interests a lot of people. An independent, open source platform aimed at making it easier for governments and businesses to publish open data has released a new version of their API. The CKAN API allows access to catalog listings of open datasets, full-text searches, and sharing of statistics on open data usage.
The API allows developers to access and manipulate Gmail much like they would a database, performing CRUD operations on email messages as well as attachments, drafts, threads and labels.
